Гениальный фотограф-портретист – Сэл Паталано (Sal Patalano).

     Время остановилось в каком-то мгновении и оставило яркий и четкий свой отпечаток. Вот оно – это застывшее в своём неповторимом выражении мгновение: живое, яркое, эмоциональное! Чем так выразительны и одухотворены эти лица? Смотришь и сразу видишь всего живого человека: с его заботами, желаниями, чаяниями, страстями, волнениями и финальным умиротворением... Смотришь и видишь, чем и как жил человек.

     Загадка эта открывается просто – глаза... Сумел мастер уловить и передать это мгновение разумных и освещенных Духом глаз – значит сумел запечатлеть и показать всего человека. Глаза – это зеркало Души. И мы не сможем сложить для себя полный образ человека без ощущения его характера, без понимания его психологическо-поведенческого образа, тем более если судить только по одному мгновению. Но это делается возможным, если автору удалось запечатлеть истинное выражение глаз, как автор Сэл Паталано умеет хоть и на мгновение, но заглянуть человеку в душу.

 

 

     Я в этом лично убедился ещё на заре туманной юности благодаря замечательному таланту Ярослава Гашека, так блестяще и правдоподобно отразившего голубые глаза и сопутствующую им добродушную улыбку своего бессмертного героя. И сразу Швейк вошёл в мою жизнь на правах старого верного друга, старшего товарища, готового на все случаи жизни дать свой совет, поддержать в трудные дни и готовый с такой же искренностью разделить радости и любые огорчения, настраивая при этом на непременно позитивный исход любых событий, которые время от времени посылает нам жизнь. Это именно тот случай, когда искусственно созданный образ становится живым, а это доступно только величайшему Мастеру, по-настоящему Творцу! Каждая из этих фотографий может рассказать историю жизни человека... Бери любую фотографию, и открывается целый роман со своим только этому лицу присущим сюжетом, и всё это можно прочесть только по одной фотографии, сделанной талантливейшим мастером Сэлом Паталано.

 

 

     Мы на всех парах, как никогда ранее, устремились в новое будущее. Так стремительно, что 10 лет современной жизни можно смело приравнивать к тысяче лет, если начать отсчёт от Рождества Христова. Подумать только: 2000 лет существует установленный с тех пор моральный кодекс и уклад жизни, и, по большому счету, всё это время всех всё устраивало, и вдруг понеслось... Цифры, роботы, гуманоиды, и нет никаких сомнений в том, что уже в ближайшие десять лет мы будем существовать в одном пространстве и в одном времени с искусственными созданиями, способными обыграть в шахматы всех чемпионов мира вместе взятых, которым не будет равных в сложении, делении, вычитании и решении интегралов.

 

 

      Нисколько не сомневаюсь, что именно так и будет. Более того: в будущем встанет вопрос, кто главнее и кто умнее, и, возможно, будет решаться вопрос о том, кто из двоих должен уступить место другому для продолжения эволюции: химеры или люди... Может быть. Но я абсолютно уверен, что Человек победит. И вот почему. Любой разум, кроме человеческого, впадёт в ступор, и вышибет у него все предохранители перед любой из фотографий великого мастера Сэла Паталано, который смог создать такое творение, которое только одним своим выражением глаз и снисходительной улыбкой, сокрытой в уголках губ, так громко смогло заявить: «А слабо сделать так же...?»

     Time stopped in an instant and left a bright and clear imprint. Here it is – a moment, frozen in its unique expression: lively, bright, emotional! Why are these persons so expressive and spiritualized? You look and immediately see the whole living person: his worries, desires, inspirations, passions, excitements and final peace ... You look and see this person’s life.
     This riddle is solved simply – the eyes ... If a master was able to capture and transmit that instant of sentiment and spirit-illuminated eyes, then he was able to capture and show a whole person. Eyes are the mirror of the soul. We would not be able to put together a complete image of a person in our minds without sensing his character, without understanding his psychological behavioral image, especially if judged by only one captured moment. But this could be made possible if the author manages to capture the true expression of the eyes, like Sal Patalano is able to do by looking into a person’s soul even if it is for just a moment.
     I personally became convinced of this at the dawn of my foggy youth thanks to the remarkable talent of Yaroslav Hasek, who reflected the blue eyes and the good-natured smile of his immortal hero so brilliantly and believably. And immediately Schweik entered my life as an old faithful friend, a senior comrade ready to give his advice at any occasion, support on difficult days and ready to share joy and sorrow with the same sincerity while turning to a positive outcome any event which life sends us from time to time. This is exactly the case when an image, artificially created, becomes alive, and it is only possible to do so by the greatest Master, a true Creator!
Each of these photographs can tell you the story of a life of a person whose image is captured by a photographer... Take any photo and it’s like reading a novel with its own plot belonging to this unique individual, and all of this can be read in only one photograph taken by the most talented master – Sal Patalano.
     We are heading to a new future with such speed like never before. So fast that 10 years of our life can easily equate to a thousand years if you start the countdown from 2000 years ago. Just think, that for 2000 years there was a certain moral code and a certain way of life established, and for the most part, all this time everything suited everyone, and suddenly it started... Numbers, robots, humanoids, and there is no doubt that in the next ten years we will exist in the same space and at the same time as artificial creatures, who will be able to beat all world-class chess champions combined, which will not be equal in addition, division, subtraction and solving integrals.
     I have no doubt that it will be so. Moreover, in the future, the question will arise, who is more important and who is smarter, and perhaps the question will be raised, who of the two should give away the place in order to continue evolution: a chimera or the people ... Maybe. However, I am absolutely sure that Man will win and that’s why. Any mind, except the human one, will fall into a stupor and will be knocked out before any of the photos of the great master Sal Patalano, who could make such a creation that was able to claim so loudly “Would you dare to do as well?” with only the expression of the eyes and a hopeful smile hidden in the corners of the lips.
